“It was late afternoon and the breeze had picked up. I was frustrated after wiping the 13th hole and losing a ball so I whacked a 2 iron and watched it disappear in the shadows on the green. There was a mix of excitement and relief when one of my playing partners confirmed it was in the hole. It was going to be a long downhill putt if it missed the hole and my putting was terrible on the day.” Brett Carter
