Members are advised that there has been a change made to the fixtures for August with the WABLGA Pennant Finals being held at the Club being played on the 4th August, as opposed to the advertised 11th August. WABLGA had requested the Club reserve a rain day (4th August) should inclement weather see any rounds through the season be rained off. At this stage, the long range forecast looks like all matches will be played without any cancellation, so the final will be played on the 4th, requiring our AM competition be played as a 7:30am Shotgun.
Members should note that in the event the 4th is called off due to rain, we may be required to change fixtures for the following week and play the Sunday 11th competition as a Shotgun Start also. If not, the 11th will be played as a normal medley stableford, with a rolling tee from 7am.
We will keep members updated to any further changes and appreciate member understanding – and of course, wish our WABLGA Ladies Team all the best for the season – hopefully we will make it to finals!
