I would like to update all members on the recent movement of positions on the board.

• As a result of Steve's resignation, I have been appointed (effective 9^th February 2022) by the Board to fill the casual vacancy of President.
• Lino Scartozzi has been appointed by the board to fill the casual vacancy of Vice President with immediate effect.
• As a result of Bill's resignation, Paul Cooper has been appointed by the Board to fill the casual vacancy of Vice Captain.

Both Steve and Bill have made a valuable contribution to the club in their respective roles. They have both sacrificed so much of their time. Serving on a board or in a committee can often be challenging. Those who do so often do not get recognised for their personal contribution. I would like to take the opportunity to thank all board members, committee members and volunteers for the personal contribution they make to our club.

Additionally, I would like to thank our new General Manager, Fiza Errington for the mountain of work she has managed to get through in her short time so far. Fiza has already demonstrated her significant depth of golf administration experience. We are very fortunate to have Fiza at our club.

The board welcomes our past Captain and past President back onto the board in their new roles. They will both provide our board with a vast amount of club experience. They are both very keen to embrace the opportunity to engage with members and move our club to improve the golf and house amenity.

The recent changes give the board a new look and an opportunity for all members to further engage with the club. Be positive and embrace what our club is capable of achieving. We have a lot to look forward to.

In the coming weeks we have our traditional Opening Day and then followed by the Gosnells Open. I look forward to seeing you all around the club.
