Update from Club President


Fellow members,

Please find below, an update from the Board in regards to outstanding issues of behavioural matters raised in previous Board notes: 

The Board had 2 outstanding matters of misconduct.

Trevor Jonas has been cleared of his misconduct allegations and another member has received a lengthy suspended sentence.

The Board is currently drafting and will shortly adopt a new members code of conduct. This will form the basis for which a newly appointed disciplinary sub committee will hear and investigate all future disciplinary issues. The new committee will then make a recommendation for the Board to approve.

Quick Update - Opening Day Saturday 26 February 


It is not too late to submit your name to play in our Opening Day on Saturday 26 February afternoon (for the eligible membership categories) but we do have 6 members in our waiting list for the morning field so if you are listed to play in the morning but can't play, please take out your name as soon as you can.

Welcome to the Club - Paul Fenton!

Paul started on Tuesday, 22 February and is settling well into his new role as PGA professional in the pro shop.

Paul has previously worked in Whaleback golf course and even spent 2 years in Singapore, teaching golf.

Please say hello and introduce yourself to Paul when you see him next at the Club. If you would like a lesson with him, please contact Paul directly.

Changes ahead

New index changes 


Please be advised that from Saturday, 26 February, the following new index changes will apply on the applicable golf holes below based on the tee box colour. 

The change of the index holes were conducted by extracting information from over 36,724 scorecard records within the last 2 years. 

We thank our club match administrator, Vanetha Lam for her work in compiling the data required.

Reminder: Hitting golf balls outside of club boundaries 


We kindly remind members that if you happen to hit a golf ball outside of ANY of our club boundaries when you are playing golf, you MUST advise club office/administration and we will log a record of the stray golf ball. 

Should we come to any issues with insurance claims or damages to property or worse, we must be able to identify the player. You won't be in any trouble, we just need to identify the golfer in order to proceed with the claim process. 

We have all hit, a stray golf ball here and there, and we appreciate your assistance in the matter.

This stray golf ball came from the golf course and it landed in a nearby residence house in Rufford Lane (not from the driving range). This was recorded on Saturday, 19 February at 2.50pm.

Live music on Sunday 27 February 

Enjoy free, live music with talented guitarist Trent Williams in the alfresco area on Sunday, 27 February from 12.30pm - 4.30pm 

Sunday, 27 February is also the final day of our junior pennant and our boys division 1 are in a prime seat to win the flag on our home course so please come down and support our juniors on the day! We also have the boys division 4 and girls division 1 in contention for their respective flags, playing at WAGC and Lake Karrinyup. Go team!
