COVID

COVID impact to club operations


Members are advised that as we operate on a small resource of staff and volunteers, it is likely that changes may apply to our club operations on short notice particularly when we have cases of close contacts or positive cases.

These short notices may include but not limited to: - 

  • Limited menu on the day (limited kitchen staff)
  • Limited hours of operations in hospitality (limited bar staff)
  • Impact on course conditions (limited course staff) 
  • Cashless in club operations (limited admin staff) 
  • Limited hours of operations in pro shop (limited pro shop staff) 

We recently published a one page document highlighting areas that will be impacted on short notice due to the current Level 2 of Public Health Measures. Click here for the PDF document. 

Please be courteous to all club staff when we are impacted and thank you for your understanding and patience.

Call out for Gosnells Open and Senior Open volunteers


If you are free and available on the weekend of Friday 11 March, Saturday 12 March and Sunday 13 March - we are looking for club volunteers to assist the Club in the management and running of Gosnells Senior Open and Gosnells Open. Please contact Paul Cooper (email link) or Fiza (email link)

Forum and SGM 


The Special General Meeting for the constitution changes is likely to occur on Monday, 2 May. 

We will be holding an information forum for members to attend on Thursday, 24 March (Previously announced date was Monday, 21 March). Please note that this forum is only for discussion around the constitution changes. 

By the end of next week. we hope to distribute the constitution changes together with a FAQ and copies of our current and proposed constitution to all members (via email)

ICYMI - Junior pennant season ends with celebration


In case you missed it, our junior pennant season finished last weekend with a celebration win for boys in division 1 and a very positive and encouraging finish for our juniors in the pennant season.

It was a fairy tale ending for our junior division 1 boys with number 1 player Josiah Edwards holing the winning putt for the pennant flag on the 18th green in front of a big crowd of juniors, parents, members and supporters. Certainly, a memorable experience and one that would be a talk of the Club for many years to come. 

Well done to all juniors playing in their first junior pennant. The nervous feeling in the pit of the stomach on the first tee may never go away but it gets better with experience. Maybe.
