Doug Mckellar

Doug McKellar - blooming marvelous

Club member Doug McKellar has been diligently volunteering his time to maintaining our rose garden for the last four years. He has been pruning, weeding and spraying to ensure a great display of roses during the flowering season.

Doug has decided its time for him to hang up the secateurs. We thank him for his wonderful contribution to our club, and if you see him around, be sure to thank him personally.

Should any other member wish to volunteer their time to maintaining our rose garden, please enquire through the office.

Jan Rowling

MVP Jan

Jan Rowling is the proud recipient of this year's WABLGA Ros Fisher best player award, awarded annually to the best pennant player in the season.

Jan was undefeated this season and proved to be a valuable asset to the team.

The WABLGA best pennant player award is named after our very own, Ros Fisher.

Quick updates

The online surcharge fee for online transactions will remain for an indefinite time. However, if you would like to pay for your top up account via credit card through our office or bar - there will not be any surcharge fees on top. Our apologies on this extension as we previously advised that this surcharge will come off in August.

Lifestyle members - if you are not playing on the timesheet, please advise pro shop to take your name off the timesheet. This will allow an automatic refund of points from the allocated game. As a guide, we do offer refund of points for lifestyle members if they don't finish their 18 holes round (usually due to weather). E.g. if you booked to play 18 holes and played more than 9 holes but less than 15, we will refund the remaining equivalent points for 9 holes. If you've played 15 holes or more, it is equivalent to 18 holes of golf.

Reminder, our course is closed during our coring period - Monday 12 September, Tuesday 13 September and Wednesday 14 September. We are working on reciprocal arrangements with other clubs and more information will be released soon if we are successful.

No drink cart will be provided on course on Tuesdays until after coring has completed. This is due to weather conditions and low number of sales.

Strictly no teeing off on the higher grass level (before the astroturf range). We noticed fresh divots in the area recently and strictly advise members to abide by the rules in the usage of range.

School Sport WA team

Congratulations to junior members Josiah Edwards, Nariko McDonnell and Aileen Sirait who represented WA at the under 18 School Sport national championships in Victoria. In some severe conditions they battled through for some great results.

Josiah won bronze medals for the Team Stroke Aggregate and Teams Matchplay. In her first event representing her state, Nariko did a great job in scoring the silver medal for individual runner up Nett. Well done to all who represented WA and all the support crew. You did WA proud.
