Twilight cash box winners

Twilight cash box winners - TWICE!

We were amiss in reporting one of the biggest Twilight cash box winners, occurred on Friday 12 August.

Not just one cash box winner, but two on the same night!

Stephen sent the room rocking by choosing the correct cash box key and won over $1000. As a kind gesture, he then placed $100 back into the cash box.

Nicole drew the next key and won the cash box again! This time, taking in the wins from the day's takings as well the $100 donated from Stephen.

Twilight is a fun, informal event for every member to come and enjoy every Friday afternoon. All welcome. Its an informal comp therefore it is not handicapped but winners take home cash prizes and if you're lucky in the spinning wheel, you may even take home winnings from the cash box.

Everyone is welcome to enter the spinning wheel, you don't have to play Twilight to enter and it is open to all members and guests.

Senior women team

Flying the pennant flag high

Our Central Black Women's Senior team took home the flag with a win on the final day on Monday, 5 September.

Congratulations to all players!

A big thank you to the caddies and team organisers.

Please note - missing from the photo is Helen Craig and Jo Calvo.

Ladies Open Day 2022

Quick updates

Please be advised that our Club followed advise received regarding the correct flag raising protocol following our Queen's passing. As per the Commonwealth Flag Officer notice, it is customary to fly the flag at half-mast from the time of announcement of the death of The Sovereign until the day after the funeral, except on the day the accession of the new Sovereign is proclaimed.

The day of our new King Charles III accession to the throne was yesterday, Friday 9 September. The flag flew at full mast in recognition of this and from today onwards, it will fly at half mast until our Queen's funeral.
