Strategic Plan 2024 - 2028

Dear members,

I am pleased to now publish the 2024 update of our Strategic Plan.

In recent months, the board of management have been drafting the updated strategic plan which will take our club through to 2028. The current board have over 200 collective years of membership and is very well-equipped to navigate the club through the next period of our strategic plan.

We hope to achieve the vision of being "The favourite club of our members and the local community - THE CLUB OF CHOICE".

Our work is ongoing and will require an enormous contribution from many volunteers. Our immediate objective is to secure capital funding (for development works) primarily from government grants. This process is now underway. I will update members as soon as is practical as well as other aspects of the strategic plan, as they progress.

The board of management will host an "Open Forum" session for members to come along and ask questions on any aspect of our Club. The format will be the same as question time held at recent annual general meetings. The first open forum is scheduled for Thursday 28th March - immediately after the presentations.
