2025 GGC Junior Open

Congratulations to our 2025 Junior Open Champions, Josiah Edwards and Saehi Suh.

Over 100 junior golfers ascended to the club yesterday to compete in our annual Junior Open. Some great golf was played throughout the day in challenging windy conditions.

Gosnells Golf Club's own Josiah Edwards came out victorious in the boys open for the third time with a score of 69 (-1), eventually winning in a playoff hole against Joondalup's Nate Johnson.

In the girls event, current junior girls and women's club champion Saehi Suh won her first GGC Junior Open. Saehi shot a 73 (+1) to defeat Isabella Leniartek and Katie Seol by one stroke who finished tied for second both shooting 74 (+2).

Congratulations to our two very worthy winners, both of whom will have their names etched onto the respective Luan Wright perpetual trophies. The club would also like to thank Charles Wright for attending and presenting the trophies to our champions.

Jose De Sousa Gains PGA Tour Card

The club would like to acknowledge the superb efforts of member Jose De Sousa who has earned his Australian Tour Card for the first time.

Jose finished 18^th at the 2025/26 Qualifying School Finals held over 72 holes at Moonah Links, a finish that was good enough to earn him full tournament membership of the PGA of Australia.

Congratulations Jose and best of luck with your future golfing endeavours. More to come soon.

Dumpling House Buffet to Return 14 May

After a great turn out and reception of our Dumpling House buffet held in March, head chef Gus and his team will be hosting another Asian themed Dumpling House buffet on Wednesday the 14th of May.

Pennants Update

The senior men’s pennants season is in full swing with our Gosnells teams performing very strongly so far. Check out the the members news section of the members portal to see the results and how our 4 senior men's teams are tracking so far through the season.

Also, best of luck to our women's pennant teams who are set to get their season underway this coming week.

EB's Anzac Day Carry the Flag Competition

On Wednesday the 23rd of April, the EB's group played their annual 'Carry the Flag' competition for the Ron Howe Gallipoli Trophy.

Congratulations to Kumar Selva (pictured here with Darryl Brisset) on winning this year's competition. If you are interested in getting involved with the EB's group, feel free to speak to Darryl Brisset or get in touch with the office.

Women's Merv Blee Par Competition

On the same day, 32 women members competed in their annual Merv Blee Par competition across 18 holes.

In wet and windy conditions, Lyn Bennett took victory with an impressive par score of +1 playing off a daily handicap of 11. Congratulations to Lyn (pictured here with Sue Symes).
