Dear Members

Fostering a Positive Culture

At Gosnells Golf Club, our Operation Team , Committee Group and Board of Management are dedicated to creating a welcoming, respectful and inclusive environment for all members and staff. Building this positive culture begins with education, understanding our standards and working together to uphold them. Our Members Code of Conduct serves as a foundation, outlining the behaviours and values that promote strong friendships with in our community.

Strengthening Our Governance
As part of our ongoing effort to uphold these standards, we have made some important updates to how we manage member conduct and dispute matters. Firstly, the committee has been renamed from Discipline Committee to the Dispute Committee to better reflect its focus on resolving concerns.

Additionally, the Dispute Committee will now be chaired by our General Manager, Shaun. Shaun's leadership in this capacity ensures that member concerns, while maintaining clear communication with staff, the Committee Group, and the Board of Management. Shaun will serve as Chair in a non-voting capacity, ensuring impartiality and fairness.

We will also undertake comprehensive review and update of the Members Code of Conduct.

Acknowledging Our Dedicated Team
Finally, to want to extend my sincere gratitude to Rod Steere, who has played a vital role in supporting this process. Rod will continue working alongside Shaun, offering expertise and support as we move forward together.

Thank You for your Support
These changes reflect our commitment to continuous improvement and fostering a health club culture. Thank you for ongoing support as we strive to make Gosnells Golf Club the club of choice.

Kind Regards

Shane Thompson | President
