General Update

Lithium battery for walk-behind buggies

We recently announced the decision to remove the charging and storing of lithium batteries from the members' storage area. This was in response to the recent clubhouse fires that had a high correlation caused by lithium batteries for walk-behind buggies. The same risk factor wasn't applied to lithium batteries from carts or bikes.

We thank members for their understanding.

All members with an allocated bay in the storage area pay the same fee (powered or not) therefore there will not be any refund due to the withdrawal of battery storage and charging.

Social groups access in timesheets

We allow social groups to play on Mondays, Wednesdays PM, Fridays and Sundays PM. This is not new. It's been in place for a while. Our revenue from visitors and social groups accounts for 8% of our total revenue. It's not a small number and it is imperative to our financials.

Our staff makes all effort to ensure that visitors are advised of our dress codes and course care before playing on our course. It is, of course, impossible for us to monitor this 100% but we are putting in place "touchpoints" to ensure adherence whilst maintaining the friendly customer service that we are known for.

Junior Club Champions

Congratulations to Josiah Edwards and Aileen Sirait, recently crowned Junior Club Champions!

Special mention to Halia Edwards, winner of the Luan Wright Character and Perseverance Award.

A wrap-up of the junior champions is included below.

Christmas and well wishes

Please be advised that our course and clubhouse are closed on Christmas Day. The entrance gate will be closed and there is no special access for members. If you need to access your clubs on Christmas Day, please ensure that retrieval is done before the day.

On behalf of all staff at Gosnells Golf Club, thank you for a wonderful year. Your support, humour and kindness towards us are what make this such a great Club and a great place to work. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
