Gosnells Juniors Build Skills and Friendships on International Stage

This week 14 of our Gosnells Juniors had an incredible experience training with the Junior Elite players from the Malaysian Golf Association National Junior Development Program (MGA NJDP). A total of 42 kids spent three days training as a group and competing in match play on the beautiful Tanjong Puteri Golf Resort Plantation course.

Early starts were awaiting our players with 6:30 am stretching and fitness classes pre-breakfast. Mornings featured short-game skills challenges and independent range sessions, while afternoons saw the kids hit the course to get used to the local conditions and grasses in individual and best-ball match play.

Our kids had a ball, played some amazing matches, but importantly have also had fun and reconnected with old friends while making many new friends.

There has been some fantastic competition, but our players have performed well, mixing with, and some even beating opposition players with WAGR rankings in the 200–400 range.

As we head toward the weekend, our players have had a rest day Thursday, as Friday sees the start of the main event – the Malaysian International Junior Open 2025.
