Course Update – 11 Feb 2026

This week’s course update

The week began with high temperatures and strong winds; however, the course performed well under these challenging conditions.

Our primary focus has now shifted to overall course presentation in preparation for the Club Opening Day.

On the greens, we have been proactively addressing isolated areas of summer stress by plugging out affected turf to maintain surface consistency and uphold our putting standards. This remedial work is progressing well and is scheduled for completion ahead of Opening Day next week.

All fairway bunkers have been edged and weeded, significantly enhancing both aesthetics and playability. Greenside bunker preparation is underway and will be finalised next week.

In addition, mowing frequency has been increased across all playing surfaces to ensure optimal presentation. This intensified program will continue through to Opening Day to deliver the course in peak condition.

We did encounter several irrigation challenges this week, including some mainline breaks. These issues have now been repaired, and the system is fully operational again. With slightly cooler conditions forecast over the coming days, we expect irrigation efficiency to improve and turf stress levels to ease accordingly.

We look forward to presenting the course in excellent condition for Opening Day and thank members for their continued support.

Cheers
