Members playing the course over the last two days would likely have noticed the damage to the 6th Green.  Unfortunately one of the Club’s Greens Mowers had a hydraulic hose break unexpectedly, which leaked hydraulic oil across the green.

Our Grounds Staff will repair the damaged area, which will die off in the coming days on Tuesday by lifting the damaged green and replacing with bent grass (pencross) from our spare hole at 13a.  Further to this, our Grounds staff will use bent grass (Pure Distinction) from our nursery to re-turf the spare hole at 13a.

Members playing socially on Tuesday morning should note that the front nine will be closed until 11am to allow staff to finish repairs before the afternoon competition commences.  The back nine will be open for play.

We thank members for their co-operation while we undertake these necessary repairs.
