Last Friday the annual Gosnells Junior Open was held at the Club and saw 80 Gosnells Members and visiting juniors participate in the 18 Hole Stroke event.
The field started at 8am, and we were blessed with a crisp, yet sunny morning for the event.
It was great to see many players stay at the Club for presentations, and wonderful to have Elna & Charles Wright attend to present the Luan Wright Memorial Trophies to the Gross Winners.
Gosnells was well represented in the prize allocation, with Club Junior Judah Gilbert taking out they Boy’s Best Nett with a score of 65 – Judah took great pride in reminding older brother Josiah that he had beaten his score by 6 shots! oe Grace Ong collected the Girls Best Nett win wiht a score of 65, and Shiloh Gilbert took out the Girls 3rd Nett prize.
The Gross Winners for the day were Tom Addy from Joondalup and Yeah-Jin Lee from Royal Perth Golf Club.
