This coming Thursday the Rotary Club of Southern River are hosting a Breakfast here at GGC with the Executive Director of Research & Development Genome Science & Technology at Pfizer in Arizona. Dr Sandy Farmer will appear via video link to discuss the evolution of the COVID-19 will expand upon the complex ways in which immunity works, in particular the response to a viral infection, which involves “recognition and destruction of the viral particles and infected cells”.
Given the vaccine is now being rolled out in Australia and many members may be seeking additional information before being immunized, the opportunity to attend is a beneficial one.
